Silica Fume
Description
The silica fume is amorphous silica. it is formed by the rapid oxidation and condensation of SiO2 and Si gas and oxygen in air when smelting ferrosilicon alloy and industrial silicon. It is a kind of gray ultra fine silicon powder material.widely used in coke oven, iron making, steel making, steel rolling, non-ferrous metal, glass, ceramics, power and refractories and other industries.
The specific applications of micro silica fume in refractories are as follows:
1. Used in high grade high performance low cement refractory castable and preforms, its service life is three times that of common castable, the fire resistance is increased about 100 ℃, and the high temperature strength and thermal shock resistance are obviously improved.
2. Used for large iron trenches and ladle materials, air-permeable bricks, smear patching materials, etc.
3. Application of self-flow refractory pouring materials and dry-wet spray construction.
4. Oxide bonded silicon carbide products (ceramic kiln furniture, flame barrier, etc.)
5. High temperature calcium silicate light heat insulation material.
6. Corundum mullite push plate for electric porcelain kiln.
7. High temperature wear resistant materials and products.
8. Corundum and ceramic products.
9. Salon binding products.
