Black silicon carbide deoxidizer is a novel high performance compound deoxidizer, which can replace the traditional deoxidizer, ferrosilicon powder and alloy powder, which is suitable for deoxidation of common steel, alloy steel and special steel. It also has the advantages of rapid deoxidation, early slag formation, strong reduction atmosphere, rich foam, etc. It can effectively improve the recovery rate of elements and also have the effect of increasing recarburization, replacing some carbon-increasing agents, and greatly reducing the cost of steelmaking.Using silicon carbide as deoxidizer in steelmaking can stabilize the quality of molten steel, refine the grain size and remove the harmful impurities in molten steel. The casting temperature of molten steel is high, the quality of billet is good and the unit cost is low. The use of the method is as follows:
Add 3-6kg/ ton steel to the bottom of ladle before smelting deoxidized alloy;Deoxidization alloying operation is started when molten steel is discharged to 1/3, and other processes are carried out according to conventional process.
