Fused calcium aluminate：
Fused calcium aluminate is mainly used in lf furnace, open hearth furnace, converter, ladle refining, removing the harmful elements such as sulfur and oxygen in molten steel and reducing the impurity content in steel. it is suitable for smelting all kinds of common carbon steel, high carbon steel and alloy steel as premelted refining slag.
The characteristics of fused calcium aluminate as premelted refining slag are as follows:
1. The chemical composition is uniform, the melting point is low, the melting speed is fast, and the refining time can be shortened.
2. Do not contain fluorine, do not erode furnace lining and ladle;
3. Compact structure, no water absorption, easy to store and transport;
4. Stable phase and quick slag formation can reduce dust pollution and stabilize refining process.
5. No hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon and other impurities, conducive to improve the quality of steel.
