Fireclay Brick
Description
Fireclay brick is made of refractory clay clinker, flint clay and low aluminum mullite as main raw materials, mixed with various additives, after forming and drying, firing in tunnel kiln at above 1300 ℃.The refractory brick made of refractory clay is ordinary clay brick,the refractory brick with porosity less than 17% made from flint clay or low aluminum mullite is low porosity clay brick. According to the usage, it is mainly divided into fireclay brick for blast furnace, fireclay brick for hot blast stove, large fireclay brick for glass kiln and fireclay brick for coke oven etc.. In addition, it can also be used in the middle and low temperature parts of other industrial kilns.
The fireclay brick used in blast furnace is a kind of fireclay brick used to build lining of blast furnace. It has the advantages of high refractoriness, long wear resistance, small volume shrinkage at high temperature, low apparent porosity, low iron content and less formation of low melting point in the process of application. Mainly used for small blast furnace lining throat, hearth, bottom and large blast furnace body.
The fireclay brick used in hot blast stove is made of refractory clay as raw material, which is used to build hot blast furnace. It is mainly used for heat storage chamber and partition wall of hot blast stove. It has good thermal shock resistance, high load softening temperature, low creep and so on.
Large fireclay brick for glass kiln is a clay refractory brick with a single weight of not less than 50kg used for building glass kiln.
Fireclay brick for coke oven is mainly used for sealing wall of heat storage chamber, small flue lining brick and storage chamber lattice brick, furnace door lining brick, furnace top and riser lining brick, etc.
Low porosity fireclay brick is made from low aluminum mullite by high pressure molding and sintering at high temperature. The main mineral composition is mullite phase, the product has excellent high temperature physical properties and chemical erosion resistance. It has the characteristics of low porosity, high resistance to permeability and corrosion resistance. Mainly used in steel, glass, chemical and other industries.
The alkali-resistant brick used in cement kiln is made by sintering in tunnel kiln after forming and drying, using silica and flint clay as main raw materials and adding proper amount of additive.
